We want this volunteer experience to be rewarding. In doing so, there are certain guidelines we maintain as a way to stay organized and ensure a positive working relationship.
We offer various internship opportunities to college/university, trade school or graduate school students. Internships are offered on a semester basis according to departmental or organizational needs.
Our internships will allow students to volunteer in a broad range of capacities from working with staff members to assisting in tasks ranging from administrative work to the creation of new programs and systems. Our internships are excellent opportunities for students to gain practical real-world work experience and learn new skills while completing a degree. Students are also able to use internships for course-work credit with the approval of their institution. It is the intern's responsibility to coordinate communication between their academic institution and Comal County Habitat for Humanity Human Resources.
Qualifications vary by internship and some positions may require specific training or availability.
